• RSJ Beaten Again

  Real San Jose was never in the match against OSA FC from Seattle. Seattle scored within two minutes and added three more before halftime. The score would get to five before Fernando Lares scored a fantastic goal to make the final 5-1. It was Lares’ fourth goal in three matches since the eighteen-year-old joined RSJ. (continue…) />

• Another Tough Loss at Home

  Real San Jose wasted an excellent start by letting the Sonoma Sol off the hook near halftime as another penalty call goes to the opponent. Gio Troini was called for a handball as a penalty box scramble off a corner kick ended with a shot smacking his outstretched left arm. (continue…) />

• Late Penalty Ruins Mother's Day for RSJ

  An 86th-minute penalty kick kept Real San Jose from taking three points out of a Mother’s Day trip to Hayward as East Bay FC Stompers forced a 2-2 draw. This match was just another frustration for RSJ, who are looking to get into the thick of the playoff race.

• Shaky Start Dooms RSJ

  A pair of early goals, one scored and another created, by CD Aguiluchos USA star striker Simon Rawnsley, was enough to doom Real San Jose to a fourth straight loss. This time 2-0.

• RSJ goes down 3-0 in Sacramento

  Real San Jose fell 3-0 to the high-flying Gold in Sacramento on April 16. The victory for Sacramento evens the season series between the two Golden Gate Conference teams at 1-1. RSJ won the first match to open the season. The final match, scheduled for June 25, will be at PAL Stadium. (continue…) />

• RSJ Wins 2016 Opener

  Real San Jose opened the 2016 National Premier League season with a 1-0 victory at Sacramento by combining total team defense with a smooth finish from Heriberto Guerro. RSJ goalkeeper Jonathan Arellano was named “Man of the Match” and he was the first to comment on the total team effort. (continue…) />

• Match In Oakland Officially Rescheduled for May 26

  Bay Area needs rain, and that is exactly what it received this last weekend. A lot of rain fell. LOTS. So much that the flooded soccer pitch at Oakland’s Raimondi Park caused Real San Jose to drive back home without opening the NPSL season against West Region champions CD Aguiluchos. • 2000 fans see RSJ battle Albion Pros in preseason match

  Real San Jose traveled to San Diego on March 5 to help Albion Pros host their first National Premier Soccer League match. And what a match it was. A crowd of over 2000, many dressed in Albion jerseys, showed up supporting their home team. A skydiver even delivered the game ball to the center circle. (continue…) />
