  • SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Opening matches don’t come any tougher than traveling to the defending league champions, and Real San Jose found this out the hard way, falling 2-1 to NPSL titleholders the Sacramento Knights, courtesy of second half goals by Patrick Nelle and Elliot Ricks-Chambers. RSJ’s lone tally was a strike from Ricardo Zarate in second half stoppage time.

  • Real San Jose(May 23, 2015) Jake Wiffen scored three goals, and Jose Avalos notched two as Real San Jose put the breaks on a two-game losing streak and defeated the Sonoma Sol by the score of 5-1 in Rohnert Park on May 23. Real San Jose is now just a single point out of second place in the NPSL Golden Gate Conference. (continue…) />

  • Real San Jose(April 26, 2015) Real San Jose assumed first place in the Golden Gate Conference after a 3-1 over the previously undefeated Sacramento Gold on Sunday night. RSJ was led by midfielder Jake Wiffen’s two goals. It led 1-0 at the intermission and extended the lead to 3-0 in the second half. The only goal the Gold scored came on an own goal by San Jose.   • Real San Jose(Dec. 22, 2014) The National Premier Soccer League announced the player list for its inaugural Combine Tournament and two Real San Jose players will be on display. Forward Jose Avalos and goalkeeper Jonathan Arellano will play for the West Team in the two-day tournament scheduled for January 9-12, 2015 at the Broward College Soccer Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, FL.   • Real San Jose(May 5, 2014) Real San Jose defeated visiting San Francisco Stompers Saturday night, giving them their first win of the season. RSJ overcame an early Stompers lead by scoring three times in the second half in the 3-1 victory. (continue…) />

  • (February 25, 2013) Real San Jose defeated Seleccion de Asociacion de Futbol de San Jose by the score of 4-3 to win the fourth annual Eastside Community Cup. The match was an exciting affair that saw plenty of action including a pair of hat tricks. (continue…) />

  • (May 30, 2010) Real San Jose returned to NPSL action with a road match against Bay Area Ambassadors and took little time in finding the net by scoring three times in a wild opening 27 minutes from which the visitors emerged with a 3-1 lead. Each team added goals in the final five minutes and RSJ came away with an important three points to keep pace with Sacramento Gold which defeated Oregon Fuego the day before. Andres Cuevas scored twice with Danny Martinez and Alfredo Grijalva each adding one. (continue…) />

  • (June 22, 2009) The playoff picture in the National Premier Soccer League Western Conference just got clearer over the weekend. In short, Real San Jose is tied with Salinas Samba for the 4th and final spot in the four-team playoff. As a result, this coming weekend could very well determine RSJ’s postseason position if any.   • Real San Jose (June 14, 2008) Danny Martinez scored three goals and assisted on a fourth as Real San Jose defeated the Salinas Samba in a match played at Monterey Peninsula College in Monterey. Martinez leads RSJ scoring with five goals this season. The win snapped a two-game losing streak and gave RSJ one more victory than the club earned all last season, their first.
