PAL Stadium is new home for Real San Jose

(Updated: Feb 18, 10:22 AM) SAN JOSE – Real San Jose, a member of the National Premier Soccer League, will play its 2016 home season at the 5,000-seat Police Athletic League (PAL) field, the team announced on February 18.

The team’s seven-game home season begins April 2 when it hosts the East Bay Stompers. The stadium address is 680 S. 34th Street, San Jose, CA 95116.

“This is our club’s 10th season and moving to PAL Stadium is a significant step forward,” said Arellano, whose team played at local high schools until now. “Fans will get the full game experience, with tailgating, professional food service, and exciting NPSL soccer.

“I am grateful for the efforts of County Supervisor Cindy Chavez, City Councilperson Magdalena Carrasco, PAL Board Chairman Juan M. Reyes, and PAL Executive Director Jim Ureta,” Arellano said.

Real San Jose competes in a national league that stretches from coast to coast and split into different regions.

After the opener with San Francisco, the remainder of the Real San Jose home schedule features the following games:

April 9 vs. Sonoma
April 30 vs. Oakland
May 14 vs. Sonoma
May 22 vs. Seattle
June 11 vs. East Bay
June 25 vs. Sacramento
