RSJ wins exciting road game

Real San Jose traveled to Fremont on October 2, 2021 and returned home with 3 points following an exciting 2-1 over NorCal Rush. It was an entertaining match with both sides creating numerous scoring chances from start to finish.

RSJ opened the scoring in the 2nd minute through Patrik Sofalvi. Just two minutes later NorCal tied the match from the penalty spot and the game remained wide open from there as both sides had their chances to take the lead before halftime.

San Jose opened the second half just the first, this time Cedric Fossito, who just am on at the start of the half, played a perfect through ball to Sofalvi to score the winning goal.

NorCal did not go down quietly and almost tied the match at the end but their best chance splattered against the crossbar.

Midfielders Ulrich Dingue and Alejandro Arreola dominated the midfield for RSJ. Carlos Torres, Andy Canepa, and Juan Velazquez played well in defense in front of goalkeeper Vadim Butkenco.

RSJ return home on October 9 to host Cruizers FC from Modesto. The kickoff is set for 7:00 PM at PAL Stadium.
