After a tough 2-1 injury-time loss on Saturday, Real San Jose takes the field this Wednesday night, May 16 for a 7:45 pm kick off vs JASA from Redwood City.
RSJ is scrambling to put a roster together because of injuries inflicted on them by Western Nevada.
Mike Tomsic, and Hoang Pham could not finish the match after suffering brutal hits that were common from the visitors. There is a chance both of them will be ready for Wednesday night. Goalkeeper Jonathan Arellano took a kick to his right shoulder that left him on the ground for a number of minutes. He was able to continue but the injury appears to be significant as he could not raise his arm after it cooled down after the match. The club will learn more after a doctor's consultation.
"We are scrambling to find another keeper for Wednesday and possibly longer," said RSJ General Manager Nick Arellano. "It is very difficult to find a qualified backup keeper in San Jose but, now thanks to the early season, rain outs we have to find one in two days."
