Real San Jose Soccer Club

We hit the road, but not yet! This Sunday, Real San Jose was to head to Richmond to play against Yemen United in an NSL Pacific League match; however, the City of Richmond made MLK Park unavailable and the game will be rescheduled.

Real San Jose, the 2022-23 Regular Season Champions, haven't lost a league match since last October and have a record of 14W 5T 0L since then. This season, Yemen United has a record of 1W 2T 1L. RSJ brings a 1W 2T 0L record.

Real San Jose is coming into this match after playing to a 1-1 draw against Marin County Union last weekend at PAL Stadium. Juan Velazquez's goal in the 44th minute put RSJ in the lead, but just when it looked like they would secure a win, Marin's Joseph Ndungu scored from the penalty spot in the 82nd minute. Despite the draw, RSJ fans are excited to see how their team will perform against Yemen United.

RSJ could easily be with three wins but twice let the lead slip away after leading at half-time. In both draws, the opponent was given a penalty kick, so it looks like our defenders need to be a little bit more careful in our own box.
