With RSJ down 1-0 Isau Navarro spun his way to the Victory end line and played a perfect pass to ideally placed Jaskaran Sehmbey to slot home in the 42nd minute.
The second half was an intense affair as CAV pushed toward and RSJ countered for the most part. The RSJ defense lead by Gio Troini and anchored by goalkeeper Jonathan Arellano kept the score tied until the 68th minute when Gustavo Vargas blasted in what would be the winning goal. The assist came from Omar Lemus. With the season on the line, CAV pushed everything forward forcing Arellano to make a huge kick save on a near post rocket shot. Finally, in injury time, Troini passed to Lemus who passed to a wide open David Valencia. Valencia coolly sealed the win.
It was a solid RSJ performance avenging the same playoff loss to the Victory during the Spring/Summer season.
